It was a great value for the money. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast in the hotel was more than we expected and very good!
I prefer to take showers as opposed to baths and the room we had did not have a shower curtain. It did have a hand-held shower head but it wasn't possible to take a real shower without making a mess.

The staff - INCREDIBLE and incredibly nice. Location not far from the main pedestrian street in the heart of Chamonix, restaurants and shops and the Sud bus station. For shots visit The Pub, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel.

The hotel is designed in French provincial fashion. Staff were very helpful and gave us some very good information regarding the location of attractions in town. The hotel itself was in a very good location with views to Mont Blanc and other features such as the glacier. Breakfast was quite good. We would recommend this hotel to other travelers.and we would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The information provided at the arrival where excellent. I also liked the croissants!
The beds are toooooo soft and a shower curtain would help reducing the mess in the bathroom ;-)

Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is good.
The hotel is quite old and need some refreshments. However, it's an old 2 starts hotel, don't forget it.

Hotel is very well located in the centre of Chamonix, perfectly placed to explore the town or surrounding area. The bus stop is directly behind the hotel and as I was there for a week's skiing, without a car, this was ideal as anyone who has skied knows, you don't want to have to walk too far lugging skis and wearing uncomfortable ski boots. They also have a very handy ski room in the basement. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good. Even though there is an English pub directly across the road and another bar next door, noise wasn't really an issue even though I had a street-facing room.
If I have to have a criticism, perhaps the decor is a bit dated but this doesn't detract from the overall experience and I suspect the prices will skyrocket if a big refurb is carried out.
